She obtained the Degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra (ETSAUN) in 2003. She has additional studies in the Helsinki University of Technology (International Postgraduate Program-WoodProgram, Helsinki, 2004) and the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) of Columbia University (Master AAD, New York, 2008). In 2013 she got her PhD from the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSAM). Her dissertation, entitled “Nueva Forma: the construction of an Architectural Culture in Spain (1966-1975)”, which obtained a magna cum laude distinction, focuses on the Theory and Criticism offered by Spanish Architecture Magazines in the last decade before the advent of democracy. Her dissertation advisor was the Spanish Architecture critic María Teresa Muñoz. This work was finalist in the 2013 National Competition Arquitesis organized by the Foundation Caja de Arquitectos (CSCAE, Spain).
Her work has been published in several magazines such as RA, DC Papers, VIA Arquitectura or Arquitectos (CSCAE). She worked in Spanish Architectural Studios such as M.A.R. Arquitectos (Zaragoza, Spain), TBA (Pamplona, Spain), TZ Arquitectos (Pamplona, Spain) and S&Aa (Madrid, Spain). Among other awards and honors, she has received the Second National Prize in Architecture Studies (Spanish Ministry of Education, 2004), the Extraordinary End of Studies Award (ETSAUN, 2003), the Second Prize ‘Cátedra Arcelor’ in Structural Analysis and several fellowships for her visiting scholarships in the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) and Columbia University (New York, USA).
Since 2008, she has worked as assistant professor in the History and Theory of Architecture in the School of Engineering and Architecture of Zaragoza University, and she has been visiting professor in the Aalto University (Helsinki, 2009, 2011), and in the Architectural Association School of Architecture (London, UK, 2014).
